UPDATE: Owner claims lost dog | Pets

A dog was claimed by its owner on Monday after it was found on Airline Drive Sunday night around 10:00 p.m. near the intersection with Greenacres Boulevard.

The owner called to claim the dog around 8:30 p.m. and is currently on the way to pick it up.

The person who found him said he was freezing cold and was almost hit by two cars. He was wearing a black collar with white, grey and blue polka-dots on it, but no tags.

He is white, with some tan spots. The person who found the dog had concerns that he might have needed medication or special care because he is an older dog.
