Memorial Day trash collection changes for Shreveport-Bossier City
Residential garbage and recycling collection schedules in Shreveport and Bossier City will change the week of May 28 - June 1, due to the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 28, city officials said.
Garbage and recycling normally collected on Mondays will be collected this week only on Tuesday, May 29. Garbage and recycling normally collected on Tuesdays will be collected this week only on Wednesday, May 30.
City officials advise Thursday and Friday collection schedules will not change.
The Woolworth Road Regional Solid Waste Facility will be open Memorial Day.
