NWLA War Veterans Home gets new trees for Arbor Day

To celebrate State Arbor Day in Louisiana, Keep Bossier Beautiful planted a half dozen trees at the Northwest Louisiana War Veterans Home.

Bossier City Mayor Lo Walker came to help, as well as former state representative Billy Wayne Montgomery, Bossier Parish Assessor Bobby Edmiston, Bossier City Community Liaison Pam Glorioso, members of Global Strike and many others.

A total of six large crepe myrtle trees were planted around the perimeter of the War Veterans Home.
