Bossier Chamber to honor Business, Business Person of the Year | Business

The Bossier Chamber of Commerce will honor the Business and Business Person of the Year during its Annual Meeting and Gala, which is being held at the CenturyLink Center at on January 22.

The Gala will begin at 7 p.m., with a VIP Chairman's Reception beginning at 6 p.m.

The Chamber says the Gala brings its members together to take stock at what happened in 2012 and present its plans for 2013. Kara Lowrie will step down as Chairman of the Board. Jason Smith takes over the roll for 2013. The Chamber will recognize the outgoing and incoming Board of Directors, plus hand out the 2012 Annual Report.

Each year, the Chamber recognizes the business community and those that excelled in areas of leadership, growth and involvement.  The honor of Business and Business Person of the Year is reserved for those that are dedicated not only to their company, but to making an impact here in their own backyard.  Awards will also be given for New Member of the Year, Media Partner of the Year, Military Relations Supporter of the Year, Diplomat of the Year and more.
