Texas Ave. Makers Fair looking for vendors

Vendor registration has begun for the Fall 2012 Texas Avenue Makers Fair. The bi-annual event is set for November 10 with vendors setting up shop along the 800 block of Texas Avenue in downtown Shreveport.

Anyone wanting to be a part of the event has until midnight, October 31 to sign up. There's a limited number of space available. Registration information can be found at www.texasavemakersfair.com.

Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, September 4 for My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra conceived by David Grapes and Todd Olson.

My Way is a musical revue which features dancing and 56 songs recorded by Sinatra.

SLT to hold auditions for upcoming comedy

Shreveport Little Theatre will hold auditions for its second Mainstage production, Moon Over Buffalo, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 26 and 7 p.m. on Monday, August 27 at the theater, located at 812 Margaret Place.

Moon Over Buffalo was written by Ken Ludwig, who is also the author of Lend Me A Tenor.
