Shreveport Farmers’ Market Opens for Fall

Shreveport Farmers’ Market will open for the fall season at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 27. 

The market takes place on Saturdays from October 27 to November 17, from 8 a.m. until noon,  under the East Pavilion and tent in Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport.

Krewe of Gemini sets Fall Flambeaux

The Krewe of Gemini will welcome in the fall season with grilling and socializing at its Fall Flambeaux from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28.

Captain Mary Louis Stansell, along with the royalty and Krewe members, will gather at the Krewe of Gemini Den at 2101 East Texas Street in Bossier City.

Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation Senior Community Choirs will combine to perform at the Louisiana State Fair Senior Day.

The free performance is set to begin at 9:15 a.m. at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum on the State Fairgrounds.
