Bossier Arts Council seeks visual and performing artists | Arts & Culture

Bossier Arts Council is thrilled to announce an upcoming opportunity for visual and performing artists.

For visual artists, the Bossier Arts Council will join The Villago to coordinate a Spring Art Walk on Saturday, March 30th.  This is an opportunity for area artists and artisans to sell their work in an outdoor venue.  Each artist will be provided a table and two chairs and given one hour for set up.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and BAC and The Villaggio will promote the event. Any artists wishing to participate should visit www.bossierarts.org for an entry form and email the application to bossierarts@bossierarts.org. 

A $15 dollar fee will apply to assist for rental of equipment and promotion (BAC will NOT be taking a commission on works sold).  All applications must be submitted by February 28. 

Also from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 30, the BAC and the Budding Artists Association will partner to host a Spring Art Walk at the Villaggio -- but this time for musicians.

This show will display numerous pieces of art created by local artists. We are searching for local bands and/or solo acts for our musical portion of the Art Show. We would absolutely love for you to be a part of this wonderful endeavor.

All entries must be "radio appropriate."
