The Center for Families | Counseling & Therapy

Founded in 1889, The Center for Families is the oldest non-profit agency in Northwest Louisiana, and a veritable cornerstone of social services in this community. Dr. William Penick established our organization to fill an unaddressed need in the community. Our mission is to serve all individuals and families of our community by providing professional affordable mental health services to anyone seeking assistance. We provide our community with a selection of comprehensive and affordable programs that; empower individuals to make life-enhancing decisions, provide individuals and families with effective problem solving techniques, foster positive parenting based on mutual respect. Our counselors have professional certification and expertise in many areas of individual and family therapy.
